Dear Composers and Members of the UCB,

The Union of Belgian Composers is organizing a meeting in the second quarter of 2024 for musicians—cellists, pianists, mezzo-sopranos—and composers.

The first meeting, between poets, composers, and singers, allowed us to select texts for the mezzo-soprano and oboe ensemble at the Osmose Festival,

and for the mezzo-soprano, cello, and piano ensemble at the upcoming UCB 2025 concert.

Composers are invited to bring unpublished works, or published works, which you can give to the musicians free of charge:

  • for solo cello
  • for cello and piano
  • mezzo-soprano and cello
  • mezzo-soprano and piano
  • for mezzo-soprano, cello, and piano

to be offered to the musicians in attendance. This is contemporary classical music.

Please feel free to share this information with your contacts, musicians, and composers who may be interested in joining or supporting the Belgian Composers’ Union.

We invite you to join us on Friday, April 12th, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at SABAM, 41/43 Rue des Deux Eglises, 1000 Brussels. The meeting will be held in the Main Stage on the 1st floor and the Culture Club on the 7th floor.
