Purpose of the association

The association’s purpose is to promote and defend Belgian music within the framework of national and international cultural life, in particular through concerts, conferences, composition workshops and training courses, the publication of brochures and articles of a historical nature, a website, social networks and recordings.

Affiliation

You are not yet a full member as a composer? Do not hesitate to send your request by email, mentioning some information, to ucb-ubc@proximus.be

The conditions: unless otherwise specified by the Administrative Body, all full members must be composers, compose contemporary classical music and be of Belgian nationality.

Following the reform of our statutes, the winners of the Fuga Trophy can join the UCB as full members, and as such enjoy the same rights as composers.

The contribution to the Union of Belgian Composers is a minimum of €25 and a maximum of €100 for full members, and the transfer is made to the bank account number of the Union of Belgian Composers: BE09 0689 5098 1357.

You are not a composer and you wish to support the Union of Belgian Composers?

The amount of your support is free but cannot exceed €1000, and the transfer is made to the bank account of the Union of Belgian Composers.
